Solana Beach, CA - The Solana Beach Schools Foundation (SBSF) is proud to announce Coughlan & Vinel, LLP as a Diamond-level Business Partner, with a generous contribution of $10,000. This significant support will help fund the salaries, materials, and supplies for the innovative Discovery Labs (STREAM, Technology, and supplemental Physical Education) across the Solana Beach School District (SBSD).
The Discovery Labs program is a unique offering, with very few elementary districts in California providing this level of high-quality, comprehensive educational programming. This partnership will ensure the continued success of these labs, which are designed to inspire curiosity, foster creativity, and build critical thinking skills in all students.
"Coughlan & Vinel is proud to support the skilled teachers, curriculum, and materials that inspire the students to be curious, creative and have fun while learning and solving problems," says Ben Coughlan, Founder of Coughlan and Vinel. "The Discovery Labs supported by the Solana Beach Schools Foundation provide such valuable experiences for students, teaching them innovative and interdisciplinary approaches that will help prepare them for careers and challenges that we haven't even imagined yet."
This year, thanks to the passage of Proposition 28, the SBSF will also provide seed funding for the research and design of new interdisciplinary programming and project-based learning opportunities. This expanded programming will include Environmental Stewardship components aligned with the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS), furthering our commitment to preparing students for the challenges and opportunities of the future.
